Kitchen Remodeling Services in Boca Raton: a finished kitchen opened to the living room, with a long island, seating along it and sliding glass out to the pool deck

01 · Where to start

Two Questions That Sort Ten Services Into One

This is everything we do, on one page. What we do most is the whole kitchen on one contract, and the ten services below are the parts of that job, sold on their own where a kitchen only needs one. Most homeowners arrive certain they need one and leave having found out they needed a different one, or the whole thing. That is not a criticism of anybody. The names overlap, the industry uses them loosely, and the difference between two of them is often something you cannot see from standing in the room.

Two questions sort the whole list. Answer them and the ten become one or two.

Are the cabinet boxes sound?

Not the doors. The boxes: the sides, the back, the shelves and the floor of each cabinet, which is the part still screwed to the wall. Open the cabinet under the sink, reach to the back and press down on the panel. It should be firm and dry. Check the back corners and the strip of frame beside the dishwasher. Turn a hinge screw and see whether it bites.

If those come back firm, you are in refacing territory and the front of your kitchen can be replaced without replacing what is behind it. If the panel flexes, if an edge has swollen and gone soft, or if hinge screws spin without holding, the boxes have reached the end and doors will not fix them.

Does the layout stay where it is?

Everything stays in place, or something moves: the sink, the range, a wall. This is the question that separates a project measured in weeks from one measured in months, and in this area there is a specific reason. A great many homes here sit on a concrete slab with the kitchen drain running below it, so moving a sink is not six feet of pipe. It is cutting concrete, trenching, re running the line at the correct fall and pouring it back.

Two answers, four combinations, and the ten services below fall into them cleanly.

Boxes sound, layout stays. The cheapest and fastest end of the list. Kitchen cabinet refacing replaces every door, drawer front and hinge and covers the face frames, in days rather than months. Quartz or granite countertop installation replaces the work surface without touching the cabinets. A pantry can be added or fitted out on its own. An island can go in if the aisle allows it.

Boxes finished, layout stays. The cabinets come out and new ones go in where the old ones were. Custom cabinetry if the sizes you need are not sizes anybody sells, which in a house laid out decades ago is more often than people expect. A small kitchen remodel if the room is under twenty linear feet, which describes most condo and villa kitchens in this city. Above that, at the twenty one to thirty five feet most houses here have, it is a full kitchen remodel. That one has no page on this list because it is not a part: it is the job the parts come out of, and it is priced on Kitchen Remodeler Boca Raton. Cabinet installation is part of all three rather than a product we sell on its own.

Layout moves. Open concept kitchen remodeling, where a wall comes out and both rooms get rebuilt around the new shape. This is the one where what is inside the wall decides the project: whether it carries load, whether it carries the sink vent, and whether the drain has to move.

A different set of dimensions. Accessible kitchen remodeling is an ordinary remodel built to different heights and clearances. It is not a separate trade and it does not have a separate price list. It is worth deciding before the cabinets are ordered rather than retrofitting later.

Each page below publishes what that service starts at, what a typical project runs, how long it takes start to finish, and how many days a crew is in your house. Two publish no figure at all, and each says why on its own page.

What "complete" means here

Every service on this list is executed whole. Refacing is every door, every drawer front, every hinge and every exposed panel, not the eleven doors you can see from the doorway. A countertop is the entire run, templated on the cabinets after they are level. A remodel is a kitchen you cook in on the last day, with the old one removed and taken away by us.

That is why the starting figures on these pages are the price of a finished job rather than the price of getting started.

What every one of these includes

Removal and disposal of what is being replaced. Repair of whatever the old work was covering, which on a kitchen built decades ago is rarely nothing. A written itemized estimate before anything is ordered, which does not move unless you approve a change of scope. Permits, drawings and engineering identified and priced before you approve the project rather than added afterward. A walkthrough at the end where we write down what is not right before asking for the last payment. Two years on the installation labor, in writing, with the contract.

And one thing none of them include: a price that changes with your zip code. It is the same in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Parkland and the rest of the area we cover.

What we will talk you out of

This matters more on a list like this than anywhere else on the site, because a page that offers ten things has an obvious incentive to sell you the largest one. Every one of these pages names the situation where that service is the wrong purchase, and the measurement is where we say it out loud with the smaller sale in front of us. Sound boxes get sent to refacing rather than to new cabinetry. A kitchen too narrow for an island gets a peninsula. A closet that can be fitted out does not become a new pantry cabinet. We can afford to do that because we do all of it, and because the full remodels that are the larger part of our work fill up from kitchens that need one rather than from kitchens we talked into it.

03 · FAQ

Common Questions

Which kitchen remodeling service do I need in Boca Raton?

Answer the two questions at the top of this page and the list narrows to one or two. Press the floor of the sink base to test the boxes, then decide whether anything moves. Sound boxes and an unchanged layout point to refacing or a countertop. Failed boxes point to new cabinetry or a full rebuild. A moving sink or wall points to a layout change. If you are unsure, the measurement is free and settles it in about twenty minutes.

Do you sell any of these services separately in Boca Raton?

Most of them, yes. Countertops, refacing, pantries and islands are all things we do on their own, without touching the rest of the kitchen. The exception is cabinet installation, which we quote inside a project that includes the cabinetry rather than as a standalone job, and that page explains why.

Do you do bathrooms as well as kitchens in Boca Raton?

This site is about kitchens, and the ten services on this page are the ones we publish, price and warrant here. The work is contracted by Gaven Constructions, which is a general contractor, so the answer for anything outside this list is a conversation rather than a page. Ask at the measurement.

What areas do you serve besides Boca Raton?

Boca Raton and eight nearby cities, listed on our service areas page. The price does not change with the zip code, which is worth saying because it is not universal in this trade.

Which service is the cheapest way to change how my Boca Raton kitchen looks?

Refacing, when the boxes allow it, because you are replacing everything visible without paying to replace what is behind it. A pantry is the cheapest change that alters how the kitchen works rather than how it looks. Both pages give a starting figure and a typical range so you can compare them before calling anybody.

How do I know a Boca Raton kitchen quote covers the whole job?

Ask what happens to the old kitchen, who repairs the wall behind it, whether the countertop is templated on the installed cabinets or off a drawing, and what the final adjustment of doors and drawers includes. Those four are the ones most often left out of a number, and each service page here lists what is inside its figure and what is not.
